What instructions should I follow before taking DNA?
- To avoid alterations or errors in your results, avoid all food or drink at least 30 minutes before collecting your DNA sample.
How do I do the test?
- Carefully open the collection tube, avoiding any contact with the swab.
- Place the swab inside your mouth; move it back and forth against the inside of both cheeks for 60 seconds.
- Remove the swab from your mouth and place it inside the DNA collection tube.
How do I send it?
Before returning samples to our laboratory,
you must complete each of the following:
- Register this kit online at the URL provided on the outside of this box.
- Seal DNA sample envelope with tape, DO NOT lick the flap.
- Write down the tracking number from the prepaid trackable return envelope. You can track the envelope at USPS.com.
Where do I see the results?
- You will receive an email with the results as a PDF.
